James Myers, DMD
I grew up in the Pacific Wonderland of rural Oregon. My days were spent adventuring in rivers, lakes, and woods with my family. I completed undergrad at The Oregon State University (Beavers! Not Ducks). I then moved to Portland to attend Oregon Health and Science University, where I would meet my favorite classmate and future bride.
Dentistry provides unique insight into the human condition and a daily opportunity to serve others in a meaningful way. After 15 years of practice and a decade into Pearl Dental, I look forward to embracing my team, honing my dentistry ever-closer to perfection as new technologies develop, and continued commitment to my calling.
I now spend my free time adventuring and learning with my two amazing kiddos and Dena.
Dena Khoury Myers, DMD
I grew up and spent most of my childhood here in Scottsdale, AZ. After graduating from Horizon High School (Go Huskies!), I ventured down to Tucson, Arizona, and became a proud Arizona Wildcat. Upon completion of my undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona, I moved to Portland, Oregon, to pursue my dream of becoming a dentist. It was at the Oregon Health and Science University that I met my best friend and now husband, Dr. James.
With over 15 years of experience as a general dentist, I enjoy creating a relaxing dental environment to help my patients build confidence and achieve a beautiful and healthy smile.
When I’m not practicing dentistry, I spend most of my free time with my husband and our two beautiful children. As a family, we love playing outdoors, baking, and traveling together.

Dental Hygienist
I began my career in dentistry in 2010 as a dental assistant and became a registered dental hygienist in 2016. I have been part of the Pearl Dental family since 2017.
Dentistry is truly a family business for me, as my mom has been in the dental field for over 30 years. I enjoy helping patients maintain healthy mouths, and outside of work, I love hiking, running, and golfing.

Dental Hygienist
I began my dental career in 2020 after graduating from Mesa Community College. As a dental hygienist, I am passionate about educating patients on oral health and building trust and confidence with every visit.
Outside the office, I enjoy Jazzercise, yoga, and spending time with my husband and our four rescue dogs.
Desiree
Dental Hygienist
I am a registered dental hygienist with five years of experience. I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in dentistry to help people feel more confident in their smiles. I strive to make every visit comfortable and stress-free for my patients.
Outside of work, I love traveling abroad, exploring new fitness routines, and watching horror movies.
Araceli
Office Manager
I have been working in the dental field for over 24 years and enjoy helping patients understand their dental needs. In 2016, I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master's in Business Administration. Shortly after completing my MBA, I proudly joined the Pearl Dental team as Office Manager.
I am originally from Southern California, and I love traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.

I have been a dental assistant since 2014 and joined Pearl Dental in 2021. I believe everyone deserves to love their smile and enjoy helping patients build confidence along the way. I also love learning about new dental technologies and techniques.
Outside of work, I enjoy visiting my parents in Mexico and making memories with my large family

Care Coordinator
I have been in dentistry since 2013, starting as a back-office assistant and transitioning to the front office three years ago. I love helping patients gain confidence in their smiles.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, trying new restaurants, and catching up on sleep!

Care Coordinator
I have held various clerical roles in dentistry since 2018. I prioritize helping patients feel welcome and at ease in the office.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to new cities and beaches and spending time with my family.
Austin
Dental Assistant
I have 11 years of dental experience and love helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident during every visit. Known for my warm personality, I help keep the office running smoothly and patients smiling.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two Shih Tzus, exploring Scottsdale’s restaurants, taking spontaneous road trips, and watching movies—especially horror. Proudly from the Navajo Nation, I bring positivity, heart, and a strong sense of community to everything I do.

I have been a dental assistant since 2010 and have been part of Pearl Dental since 2020. I enjoy the variety of procedures in general dentistry and find it rewarding to see patients happy with their treatment. I take a personal interest in each patient to build trust and strong relationships.
Outside of work, I love cooking, creating art, and spending time with my puggies and boyfriend.
